Goal#1 - Create really cool jump ropes that work really well.

First, let me start off by saying thank you so much for visiting the site and checking out the products! The creation of Boss Ropes has been a fun and exciting process and I’m psyched to share it.
I’d like to think of Boss Ropes as my contribution to a sport and community I love, CrossFit.

Boss Ropes formerly starbii

It was kind of weird, our logo came before our name. While we were starting out we just referred to the jump ropes by describing the logo - Star B. The URL starbii.com was available so we went with it. That stuck and we used it for about 4 years. It was a tough decision to change the name, we contemplated it for about a year. After getting a lot of feedback from friends and customers we decided to make the switch in 2018 to Boss Ropes.

Why did we create these jump ropes? Well, it really was kind of simple. We wanted to make something that we would use, and if it was good, we wanted to share it with others. Something we thought customers would love is the ability to create stylish motifs, stand out, and be unique, but with no sacrifice in performance. We want athletes to not only see the difference, but feel the difference. The ropes are simplistic in design and efficient in performance.

Hi there, nice to meet you! So it’s pretty obvious from the home page that we make jump ropes, and by “we” I mean myself and my wife (who lovingly supports my random hobbies), while my dogs serve an important role in product testing and always keeping company moral high!
